cubeDATA is a modular data archival library that integrates CD, DVD, and RAID technologies with knowledge management components to provide both archiving and data management.

The network-attached cubeX CD/DVD jukebox is at the center of the cubeDATA library. CubeDATA modules include:

cubeX jukeboxes use CD, DVD, and RAID for long term archival and fast response to read/write requests.

cubeFS HSM software transparently records data to DVD without changing file paths. Cross-platform file access protocols let Unix, Windows and Mac transparently retrieve non-cached files in less than ten seconds, without any special client software.

Three different cubeX models are available with capacities of 65GB to over 6TB per cube. Integrated RAID provides read/write caching and sub-second response time to cached files. Multiple cubeX jukeboxes can be linked to provide virtually unlimited capacity.

cubeRAID modules can be added to allow more concurrent users to access the library and to make overall response times even faster.

The eCube from Ricoh Silicon Valley adds seamless document imaging and data/knowledge management capabilities.

The cubeStudio from Young Minds adds automated, high speed CD/DVD recording for data distribution and offsite storage.
Each cubeX jukebox has an integrated Sun Solaris server. If a standalone server is preferred, either Solaris or NT can be used. Both integrated and standalone servers can manage multiple cubes.

Browser-based Webcube software provides full access to all configuration and management utilities.
